#1 Despacito – Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee

Despacito is a single by Puerto Rican pop artist Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee. Commercially, the song, including its remix version topped the charts of 45 countries and reached the top 10 of 9 others. It became the first song primarily in Spanish to top the Billboard Hot 100 since “Macarena” (Bayside Boys Mix) in 1996. The official video for “Despacito” on YouTube received its one billionth view after just 97 days, becoming the second-fastest video on the site to reach the milestone.

#2 One Last Time – Ariana Grande

“One Last Time” is a song recorded by Ariana Grande for her second album. Originally released in February 2015, Ariana Grande re-released “One Last Time” as a charity single in June 2017, following the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing at her concert. This resulted in the song reaching a new peak of number 2 in the UK Singles Chart following the One Love Manchester concert, as well as reaching a new peak of number 15 in the Irish Singles Chart. Grande will donate all proceeds to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund to aid the victims of the bombing and their families.

#3 Shape of You – Ed Sheeran

“Shape of You” is a song by singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was released as a digital download in January 2017 as one of the lead singles from his third studio album. “Shape of You” peaked at number-one on the singles charts of 30 different countries, including the US, the UK, Australian and Canadian singles charts. It stayed at number one for 14 non-consecutive weeks on the UK Singles Chart and is currently the second most streamed song on Spotify, and one of only four songs with over 1 billion streams on the site.

#4 That’s What I Like – Bruno Mars

“That’s What I Like” is a song by singer and songwriter Bruno Mars from his third studio album 24K Magic, released last year. It is the highest charting single from the album. “Tha’s What I Like” is Bruno Mars’ seventh US number one. As of June 1, 2017, it had sold 1,246,000 copies.

#5 Something Just Like This – The Chainsmokers & Coldplay

“Something Just Like This” is a song by American electronic music duo The Chainsmokers and British rock band Coldplay. It was released as the second single off The Chainsmokers’ debut album in February 2017 and the second single off Coldplay’s thirteenth extended play ‘Kaleidoscope’ in June 2017. In the United Kingdom, “Something Just Like This” debuted at number thirty on February 24, 2017, reaching its number two peak position the following week. It spent nine consecutive weeks in the top 10.

#6 Slide – Calvin Harris ft. Frank Ocean & Migos

“Slide” is a song by DJ and record producer Calvin Harris. It features vocals from Frank Ocean and rappers Quavo and Offset from the hip hop group Migos. It is the lead single from Harris’s fifth album. Released in February 2017, “Slide” is Ocean’s first collaboration since leaving Def Jam.

#7 Symphony – Clean Bandit feat. Zara Larsson

“Symphony” is a song by British band Clean Bandit featuring Swedish singer Zara Larsson. It is taken as the third single from their upcoming second album and as the sixth single from Larsson’s second album. The song peaked at number one on the Swedish singles chart, becoming Larsson’s fifth number one in her home country. It has also reached number one in Norway and the United Kingdom, becoming Larsson’s first, as well as Clean Bandit’s third, number one single in the UK.

#8 Be the One – Dua Lipa

“Be the One” is a song by singer Dua Lipa, released in October 2015 as the second single from her self-titled debut album. The single attained chart success throughout continental Europe and Australia. In late December 2016, “Be the One” entered the UK Singles Chart for the first time, peaking at number nine. It also became Lipa’s second number one in the US dance charts.

#9 Human – Rag’n’Bone Man

“Human” is a song by British singer and songwriter Rag’n’Bone Man. On 23 December 2016, the song reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. “Human” was the most downloaded and top-selling single throughout that week, but with the lack of streams influencing the overall chart position, the song was denied the coveted Christmas number one. As of April 2017, the song has sold 903,000 copies in the UK.

DJ Khaled has been on a roll recently scoring several successful Top 10 hits in the UK and US. With the “Maria, Maria”-sampled song “Wild Thoughts”, featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, he outdoes himself again!
